PrintJapan helps Quang Nam build school
Update 10/10/2012 - 10:32:19 AM (GMT+7)The Japanese Government has agreed to help build the Nguyen Thi Minh Khai primary school in Tra Doc commune, Bac Tra My District, in Quang Nam province.
Its non-refundable aid package was signed in Hanoi on October 8.
Over US$117,000 will be used to build the eight-classroom school for small children.
At the signing ceremony, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam, Hideo Suzuki, said he believes the project will promote the socio-economic development in the district and strengthen the friendship and mutual understanding between Japan and Vietnam.
Tra Doc is a poor commune where people live mainly by growing rice, corn, potatoes, etc. and other subsidiary crops.
