PrintVietnamese students win Asian Physics Olympiad medals
Update 16/05/2019 - 09:06:53 AM (GMT+7)Seven of eight Vietnamese students who joined Asian Physics Olympiad 2019 have achieved medals, including two silvers.
The Ministry of Education and Training on Sunday announced the Vietnamese team’s results of Asian Physics Olympiad 2019.

Trinh Duy Hieu, a 12th grader from Bac Giang Gifted High School in the northern province of Bac Giang; Nguyen Xuan Ung, 12th grader from High School for Gifted Students of Hanoi University of Science won the silver medal.
The five students namely Nguyen Xuan Tam from High School for Gifted Students of Hanoi University of Science; Le Viet Hoang from Bien Hoa High School for Gifted, Nguyen Khanh Linh from Lam Son High School, Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted and Le Cong Minh from Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted received the bronze medal.
Meanwhile, Le Quang Huy from Bien Hoa High School for the Gifted was presented with a certificate of merit from the organising board.
The 20th Asian Physics Olympic was held in Australia on May 5-13 with the participation of 165 students from 22 countries and territories. Among those, 87 were presented with medals.
The Vietnamese delegation finished fifth just behind China, Russia, Israel and Taiwan, in the contest.
