PrintGrant fund recruits Vietnamese scholars to lecture in U.S.
Update 15/09/2012 - 08:54:25 AM (GMT+7)The U.S. government-funded Fulbright Program in Vietnam is now accepting applications for its 2013 Vietnamese Scholar Program (VSP).
Every year, VSP provides grants to seven to ten Vietnamese scholars to lecture and/or perform research at American institutions or universities for three to nine months.
Successful applicants will be provided with a stipend, living expenses, health and accident insurance for the full term of the grant, and also transportation to and from the U.S.
Candidates must be Vietnamese citizens, hold an MA or PhD degree, and have adequate English skills to conduct their research and/or lectures in the U.S.
Special consideration will be given to scholars in Higher Education Administration, Law, Public Administration, Urban Planning & Development, Environmental Studies & Policy, Foreign Policy, Public Health, American Studies, Women’s Studies, and Economics.
The U.S.-based Council for the International Exchange of Scholars will help place the scholars at appropriate host institutions in the United States.
The deadline for applications is October 15.
