PrintABU Robocon 2018 to be held in Ninh Binh province
Update 13/01/2018 - 09:15:07 AM (GMT+7)The ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) 2018 will be held in the northern province of Ninh Binh on August 26, said a representative of the Vietnam Television at a press conference in Hanoi on January 9.
This year, the concept of the contest is inspired by shuttlecock throwing, a folk game of Vietnam.
The Vietnam Robot Contest’s final round will be held from May 8-13 in Vinh Phuc province to choose two strongest teams for participation in the ABU Robocon 2018.
This is the third time Vietnam has hosted the contest, which is designed for technology students in the Asia-Pacific region.
Last year, the contest was held in Tokyo, Japan, where Vietnam became the champion for the sixth time.
