PrintSwitzerland urged to support qualified educational system
Update 07/01/2016 - 09:10:00 AM (GMT+7)Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) President Nguyen Thien Nhan has asked to Switzerland to support Vietnam’s developing a qualified educational system, especially in combining vocational training, science, and technology at universities and research institutes.
The VFF leader made the call at a January 4 reception in Hanoi for newly-appointed Swiss Ambassador Beatrice Maser Mallor.
He said he hopes both countries will step up cooperation in trade and investment focusing on finance, banking, insurance, high-tech, and chemicals.
Ambassador Beatrice hailed the fine development of the Swiss-Vietnamese relations, adding her nation continues to support early finalization of a free trade agreement between Vietnam and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA).
