PrintHCM city to host 1st Asian Undergraduate Summit
Update 15/06/2015 - 08:35:09 AM (GMT+7)The 1st Asian Undergraduate Summit (AUS) bringing together undergraduate students of diverse disciplines and providing them with the opportunity to engage in meaningful academic, cultural, and social exchange will get underway on June 14-19 in HCM City.
The AUS is a student-run international program organized by the National University of Singapore (NUS) University Scholars Club (USC) and five leading universities in the ASEAN region.
The inaugural theme for the summit is – Leadership in a Complex World: The Food, Water and Energy Nexus. Within the context of the theme, participants are expected to become more sensitive to and aware of possible linkages that may exist between previously independent issues.
As future leaders of the world, they are also expected to develop a better appreciation for the need for holistic, multidisciplinary approaches and solutions to complex problems through the summit.
