Update 13/03/2014 - 07:57:36 AM (GMT+7)

The New Zealand Embassy is calling for Vietnamese applications for 30 full scholarships to study for master’s and doctorate degrees in the Australasian country, starting in 2015.

Scholarship winners will be provided with travel fares, tuition, an establishment allowance upon arrival in New Zealand, and a living allowance to cover day to day costs.

Applications for all study fields will be accepted.

“[The scholarships offer] a great opportunity for eligible Vietnamese students wishing to earn a highly valued and internationally recognised tertiary qualification,” said the New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam Haike Manning.

“Studying in New Zealand opens up new and exciting prospects, and empowers individuals with the skills and qualifications to make a lasting contribution to the economic, social and political development of their country.”

Applications must be submitted to the embassy at Level 5, 63 Ly Thai To Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi by June 30.

More information about eligibility and how to apply can be found at http://www.nzembassy.com/viet-nam.

New Zealand has granted full scholarships to more than 150 Vietnamese students for graduate education in the country since 1994.
